Do you need another CPU to upgrade bios (Ryzen 5 2400G)

Hy,

I want to build this pc:https: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bTqqsZ
but I get this issue warning about needing another CPU to upgrade the BIOS of the mobo. Do you really need one, cause I don't have one. I hope someone can help me.

You will need a CPU to update the BIOS. AMD is providing boot-kits to people who need them for situations like that. It's basically a loaner AMD A-series CPU to install the update, and then you send it back to them.

and follow the link towards the bottom of that page to request a boot-kit.

Depends when particular MB is made and it's make/model, For Asus MBs, there was a compatible BIOS since 2 months ago.
