First let me start by saying that I am a rookie when it comes to PC,
Recently I have bought a 960 Evo SSD to use as a secondary drive to put my games on and applications.
I installed the drive but once it is installed the PC won't load windows anymore it will boot and stays on a black screen. I have installed the SSD in the m.2_1 slot on my motherboard (MSI Z370m) I bought the PC pre-built it has an Intel SSD for the OS and a 2Tb HDD for storage.

I would like to know how to get the PC to load with the m.2 installed on there and how to make that 960 Evo my secondary SSD for storage. Thank you very much.

Solution
You need to go into your motherboard’s BIOS and select which drive has your OS on it.

Press F11 when you start your PC to enter Boot Menu and select your OS drive.
See page 20 of your motherboard manual for additional instructions.
