Since I upgraded my CPU from Phenom ii 965 to fx 4320 my computer has been randomly freezing for no good reason.
Currently the CPU is running at 4.6 but I also ran it at 4.5 and 4.4 but the issue was still there, even if I lowered or increased the voltage significantly. CPU is running at 1.456 volts.

I tried stress test with AIDA64 for an hour and nothing. Temps were great.

I tried increasing northbridge frequency to 2200MHz and giving my ram and nb more voltage but it didn't help.

I tried looking into windows issues so I did few scans and of course everything is fine.

Additional info: Freezing is completely random. CPU load or temps don't matter at all. No blue screen or sound. Turning off C states on CPU in bios also didn't help. Re-seated the RAM few times.

F12 is the lastest stable bios. I could try F13 but I think it is in beta.

1. Have you looked in Device Manager for any yellow warning signs?
2. Do you have any add-on cards which could be causing problems?
3. Do you have any older HDD's in your computer which may be starting to fail?

1. No warnings
2. No
3. First drive is 2 years old, second 1 year old

What is you motherboard and operating system? Are you trying to run Windows 10 on a motherboard which does not support it?

GA-970A-D3 (rev. 1.4), Windows 10

You should contact Gigabyte Technical Support about the issues you are having. I suspect given the age of your motherboard, it's not fully compatible with the latest Windows 10.
