Hello,

I am trying to choose a new PSU and I was thinking about either the Corsair 650 CXM or the Vengeance 650M, both of them are available and reasonably priced in my country (you have to wait at least 15 days for a Seasonic unit). The Vengeance is a tad more expensive than the CXM (about 10 Euros), but I understand that it's better, however, almost every review I have found for it seems to mention the German market and it comes with a German plug, is it made specifically for Germany or something? Will it work in other countries?

Solution
The shape of the wallplug might differ between your country and Germany, but you probably should be able to use the cable from the old psu you have, the psu side of those cables is the same.
Like for the wallside of those cables,
England
Germany

i've never heard anything that suggests germany is any different than the rest of the EU. it might be that they are clarifying they are not in the US testing the psu. you get different efficiency (better actually) using the EU standard. they may be making sure folks know that the results apply to the EU and not the US. being based in germany is simply a statement of fact rather than having any hidden meaning.
