(PUBG) What should I buy for a smooth gameplay?

Hello everyone! I need you help please! I play PUBG with an i7-4790k, 16 gb of ram, gtx 960 4gb and a 1080p 60hz monitor. Now, I can only run the game at 60+ FPS (max 100) on very low settings, and even if I have this FPS, the game dosen’t Run smoothly, it moves like it has 40 FPS.... :( I’m very frustrated because of this, all of my other games runs perfectly and smooth with 60+ FPS. But PUBG doesn’t... So, what should I buy? I was thinking to buy a gtx 1070/1080, but I don’t know if this will help me. So what should I buy? A new gpu or a 144hz monitor? I mean, when I look at the sky or in some locations it runs smoothly, but in most locations, even if I have 60+ FPS feels like I have 30-40, help me please! So can you guys please tell me what should I buy (a new gpu or a 144 hz monitor)??? (Sorry for my English)

Hi mate,

First let's start by saying that PUBG is very unoptimized game but a 144hz monitor would not help you basically because monitors don't increase the performance of your PC you should go for GPU, but first to be sure which GPU you want check some benchmarks in Youtube and the problem is most likely unsufficient speed of the GPU to process the textures because you said that is alright when you look at the sky. It's the GPU that's really killing you, the CPU is fine.

A GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 will work MUCH better than what you are using now.
