USB ports failing

Hi guys, So as I currently use my PC the USB ports tend to go to a black out. Anything with USB will not work and I'm forced to reboot the PC then everything will work for a while till a random moment will occur that all my USBs will fail. Even if I try to insert new peripherals such another mice or keyboard nothing will work. What can I do?

Yes, the PC functions perfectly fine. The only products connected via USB is my mouse and keyboard. The USB's wont work and random times. I've tried other mouses and keyboards and they will not work unless I reboot the whole computer. At the moment I have disassembled the computer and removed the CMOS battery to see if it will reset my USB controllers/Drivers. So far I haven't noticed any issues yet. I'll feel that the problem will be solved if I don't notice any freeze within 24 hours of removal and reinstall.


Okay so after 24 hours I still have this problem. I'm not sure what to do.

Hi, I apologize for not providing any closure or any updates to my USB problem so far. After using my PC for a few days from when the issue was taking place I noticed the issue occuring less and less. I have not see any issues with it recently. I want to go ahead and clear the thread at this point. Thank you for the help though.
