Hi, everyone. First of all i would like to thank you for taking time to read this and trying to help.

Last week i began to have hard reset and boot loop issue with my pc

Asus maximus viii extreme
I7 6700k
32gb kingston predator
Intel ssd 545 120gb in raid 0 for windows
4x wd black 4tb ( not in raid )
Evga gtx 970
Thermaltake toughpower grand 850w+ gold

Ive try monitor the psu with Hwmonitor and a multimeter ( as far as i know psu seem good )
To be sure ive try with a different one same issue ( cooler master 650w ) which is brand new
Ive unplug every usb except for mouse and keyboard, unplugged every hard drive to leave only the ssd ( did try with another fresh windows install on different hard drive ). Removed every single ram stick and reseated only 1. Removed the graphic card

Ive try too reset bios to default

So far still stuck with the same issue ,and im kinda out of idea. Anyone have encounter similar issue or have an idea on whats going on?

Ps. Will try switching cpu this sunday for an i3 6100 that i have lying around

Solution
Hi, great new im almost sure i found the problem. You wont believe it.
Near the vrm there is a jumper ( the little plastic cube that go over 2 pins to make contact ) and it was defect from the manufacture. There was a part of the metal inside that was missing so by vibration the jumper was getting on/off.

Only reason i notice it is because i was looking at capacitor, cpu socket pin, etc under a magnifier and i notice the jumper was kinda loose.
So ive change it for a new 1 and now the board seem stable and no more boot loop for now... around 6 hour running

Small 25second of boot loop

https://youtu.be/ureTTwUrvdE

So far the other pc in wich i put my i7 seems to work fine. About 1hour without any issue

But the maximus in witch ive pu the i3 keep hard reboot and boot loop after for a while. So my guess is, the motherboard is faulty. Will keep an eye on my other pc for a couple more hour to make sure the cpu is fine
