Hi, Can I use NVMe Samsung 960 PRO as a booting device with p8z77-v deluxe motherboard? I've read manual from Samsung and I've downloaded the driver and also set all the settings in bios as they recommend. Still I can't see my new SSD in the bios. The only thing that doesn't match is version of my bios (2.1) and they recommend (2.3). Is there a way to use my current MB or I have to buy new one to use my Samsung SSD as a booting device. Thanks for all your help.

Looking at the specs for that board:
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/P8Z77V_DELUXE/specifications/

There is no mention of being able to boot from an NVMe drive.
The z77 boards were released long before NVMe drives were a thing.

Even on later boards like the z97's, compatibility is spotty.
