I have an Elixir-M2X4G64CB8HG5N-DG 4GB 1600Mhz and I would love to add another 4GBs on my pc. My question is: If i add a memory of another brand with the same mhz will it run just fine? for example:Kingston ValueRAM 4GB DDR3-1600MHz. Single-channel of course. Sorry if it is a dumb question, i am still a newbie.

It may run fine, but you won't know until you try it. Buying another identical module would be better, but only a kit is guaranteed to be fully compatible because the modules have been tested together.
