So, ever since HWMonitor updated a while ago i have had these temp readings:

I have dismissed these as faulty readings because of it going from freezing to boiling in seconds, but ever since i watched a video on VRM Capacitors and how some of them can operate at 120c for 5000 hours before popping got me a little bit worried. It also made me think back to when there was a pop with sparks around the CPU power socket a little over a year ago, which caused the PC to shutdown after playing skyrim with heavy graphical mods.
