Hiya I am currently using a pretty bad Samsung 22" TV with a TN Panel as my main Monitor.

I'm looking to upgrade to this :https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SCPUINTI73770#.WpLmO0x2uUk
(is that a good deal?)

After that upgrade ^^ my PC specs would be:

i7 3770
GTX 970
16GB RAM

Would i be able to take advantage of QHD?
I play games like Fortnite, GTA V, Elite: Dangerous and P3D

So would this monitor: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-Q3279VWF-31-5-Inch-HDMI-Monitor/dp/B0777TRHPQ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=bolivar-21&linkId=f1f89cf985cbc61abf85c1bce397b464&linkCode=w61&imprToken=EaL7Wr4Q8slm5SUfXX7cjg&slotNum=4 be worthwhile?

All answers are much appreciated, Ajsski99

you WILL need to lower settings to medium/high or lower on most newer games

it is also freesync, nvidia gpu's no not support it you need g-sync

for 1440p you want a gtx 1070 or 980 TI

Medium settings is still reasonable with that system and at least the OP won't need to upgrade the monitor for awhile. As for the Freesync if the OP gets a AMD card later on then that would work fine or even if they don't some of us go with Freesync as it's just cheaper over Gsync and Vsync works fine.

there are no amd cards for 1440p you would want over an nvidia one

do you see how paying for something you "hopefully" may one day use is silly?

decide what is best in the future, anything today will be obsolete when it comes
