So yesterday I was just browsing the internet, was on wikipedia and then just a blue screen appeared. It was just a blue screen, no text, so I restarted my PC because in the last months I had blue screens with text and I just restarted my PC and it worked fine. Now it did not work. Yes, this could very well be my fault and I hope it is because I dont want something to be broken inside so that I have to buy something new. Why is it my fault?

Well, when the new Firefox Quantum arrived I updated so I can have it. But, I had a problem with it, my videos were in a different color. I know very little about computers and I thought it was my display drivers that were bad and I uninstalled them and thats where the problems began ( that was about 4 months ago) .

When I uninstalled the drivers my PC restarted ( I dont remember) and it auto. updated my drivers again. It was fine for some time, and I discovered that it was the quantums fault for the videos...but it was to late now. Then only when browsing on facebook I was getting a blue screen with a text (system_thread_exception_not_handled (atikmdag.sys)), and I just restarted my PC and it worked fine till the next day when the blue screen appeared again.

The blue screen appeared only 1 time in a day and only when browsing facebook. It was like that for a month or so and i decided to roll back my display drivers and it worked! I thought it was over with that and I didnt get no blue screens anymore, but now I got a new error (“Display driver stopped responding and has recovered”) also while on facebook and nowhere else. It just froze the screen for like 3 seconds with the error message and then it unfroze and worked fine again.

I thought it was better like that than the old blue screen when I had to restart my PC. After a while, I decided to update the drivers again, but the same blue screen appeared again, so i rolled back the update again. It remained like that till yesterday when the new blue screen happened . Now i could not even log in because it was all black with no cursor,on the keyboard only the num lock light worked.

I searched the internet for solutions, tried removing one RAM stick then another, removed the GPU and put it back in but it was all the same, black screen. So, I went to safe mode and uninstalled the display drivers and tried to install them again in safe mode but it wouldn't let me and I restarted my PC and now got a new blue screen with low resolution saying VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (atikmpag.sys).

I searched the web more and read somewhere to go to BIOS and put integrated graphics to force (it was on auto.). I did that and then I could login normally again, but the resolution was low now because I uninstalled my display drivers. I tried installing the drivers again now when I uninstalled them with Display Driver Uninstaller, but in the middle of the install a black screen appeared and then nothing. Again I could not log in. And here I am now, in safe mode with networking, without display drivers , and I dont know what to do. Maybe my hardware is broken, or maybe it is not and I can fix this somehow.

Sorry for the long text, but I had to write everything that happened, and I hope you can help me.

System:

Processor: AMD A8 5600K
RAM: 8GB
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Windows 8 64bit

Quantum videos were bad at the beginning when I started using it, that was mid november or something like that.

Like I said, I thought it was my display drivers so I messed with them and the Quantum videos worked better but I decided to use the old Firefox till they repair everything that had to be repaired.

On the old FF the videos were good, only the blue screens on facebook that happened one time every day.

I updated to Quantum this month thinking maybe they sorted some things out, and again the videos were okay, but the “Display driver stopped responding and has recovered” error remained and it happened again only one time a day and it was only using facebook, but it only froze the screen for 3 seconds and then it recovered and I just kept using it until this happened 2 days ago.

In safe mode i uninstalled my display drivers and now i cant install them back, it says "Failed to load detection driver" in the beginning of the install.

Now it says that i have this as display adapters: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.20), and clicking on update driver software it says that the best drivers are already installed, and when I click to uninstall it nothing much happens. I dont know what to do

And like I said, before all this messed up, I went to BIOS and put Integrated Graphics on force (before that it was on auto) and then I could go to Normal mode but it had bad resolutions cause of the incorrect drivers, and I couldnt update the driver because it crashed when I tried to do it. The videos, the sound , it all worked but I knew that it wasnt right so I decided to uninstall the bad drivers and install the new ones, and when I uninstalled them it just crashed and thats it, and now I cant go to Normal mode even with using the Integrated Graphics option.
