Upgraded RAM, detected in CPU-Z, undetected in BIOS and Win10 - Running in Single channel not in Dual.

Hi,

My brother bought a different pc and I can have a small 2gb RAM chip from his laptop to my laptop.
I had 4gb RAM originally, 2 slots, in the second slot I added (correctly, checked it 10 times) the 2GB RAM.

Funny thing is, in Windows 10 and BIOS it doesn't recognize the additional 2gb. While in CPU-Z it does (see picture). It also says it runs in Single Channel, and I guess it should be Dual?

What I did so far:
- Updated BIOS
- Reopened my laptop and pulled it out and re-inserted it more than 10 times.
- Restarted my laptop every time I checked or tested something.

In the picture you also see the voltage that is different. Could this cause the detection problems?

I'm thinking about buying another 4gb RAM (instead of the 2gb which I have), but I would like to know for sure if that would work or not, as it maybe could also stay in Single Channel mode for some reason.

Please guide me through this, it gives me a headache.

Thanks =)
