Today I was curious to find out what temps i get on my cpu and gpu. I installed HWMonitor and RealTemp. When I was browsing the internet I got around 51c-55c and when I was gaming I got 80c-91c. I researched a bit and I found out that these temps are extreme and dangerous.
My rig:
ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 1
Intel® Core™ i7-7700K
ASUS ROG Strix GeForce® GTX 1070
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 2400MHz C16
HDD Seagate BarraCuda 2TB
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

What could I do to bring down my temps?

Solution
The D15 has been a dream for me.....

61-63C in sustained Battlefield 1, and. for that matter it does not exceed about 77C in Prime95/small FFTs with all 4 cores at 4.5 GHz. (XMP/MCE on, otherwise stock clocks on Asus Prime Z270)

The thermal interface material (thermal paste in between cpu die and metal IHS) isn't that great on those chips, what cooler do you have?

Although Throttle temperature (Tj Max) for the 7700K is 100°C, it’s not advisable to run your CPU near it's thermal limit, just as common sense tells you not to run a vehicle with the temperature gauge pegged in the red "hot" zone.

If your hottest Core is near it’s specified Tj Max Throttle temperature, then your CPU is already too hot. The consensus among well informed and highly experienced system builders, overclockers and reviewers, is that cooler is better for ultimate stability, performance and longevity. Experts all agree that it's prudent to observe a reasonable thermal margin below Tj Max.

Here's the operating range for Core temperature:

Core temperatures above 85°C aren't recommended.

Core temperatures below 80°C are preferred.

Core temperatures increase and decrease with Ambient temperature.

Many Forum Members often start temperature Threads without mentioning Ambient temperature, and responding Members frequently don't ask. You might live in the arctic or on the equator, so Ambient temperature is a huge variable that can range from 10°C to 40°C. Standard or "normal" Ambient (room) temperature is 22°C or 72°F.

Q: What is your Ambient temperature?

Also, you might want to include this in your research: Intel Temperature Guide - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1800828/intel-temperature-guide.html

Once again, welcome aboard!

I had my friend help me (he builds pcs so I guess it's correctly applied). The compound came with the cpu cooler so I guess it's pretty poor. I live in Romania so idk how I could get good stuff..

Also my pc is under my desk. I think the hot air might be somehow getting sucked through the front fans so imma try to move my pc in a more open area and see if it improves the temps.

It's not a compound problem, your cooler is not big enough. I know that he's telling you what you want to hear, doesn't mean it is correct.

I really like this paste: https://www.pcgarage.ro/pasta-termoconductoare/noctua/nt-h1/

This is one of the best coolers on the market, but it's really tall. You have to check measurements of your case to make sure it will fit. Also make sure it won't hit your RAM: https://www.pcgarage.ro/coolere/noctua/nh-d15/

If you need something smaller, this works pretty well too: https://www.pcgarage.ro/coolere/be-quiet/dark-rock-tf/

I think the Cryorig is probably great too, I just haven't used one.

I found out my ram sticks are 34mm so they fit without any problems. Should I get the Noctua NH-D15 or the be quiet! Dark Rock 3 Pro and get a whole new bigger case?
