Ok, so, I am wanting to and have been wanting to get into pc gaming (haven't pc gamed since windows xp when i played command & conquer: generals zero hour). I have been a console gamer on ps2, Xbox 360, ps3 and finally ps4. As I love my console I have always had a passion for computers and their internals but always lacked the $. Now its tax time and I can build a good computer. I started research on parts and realized "OMG WHY THE EXPENSIVE RAM AND GPU?!?!". I researched and learned of the crippling effects of crypto-monies to pc gamers, i tried prebuilts like cyberpower and alienware, xps, origin etc. Too expensive! I put together a build on PCPP with no fear of building my own pc. I was so happy with my result weighing in at $1,894..until i realized that i could go on Amazon and find a BETTER (stronger gpu AND cpu) prebuild for almost $300 cheaper!

I would LOVE to build my own rig but I am aware that right now isn't the best time for that..and that's ok..as long as I can GAME! Im not talking Minecraft..a 1050 can do that..NO I want CS:GO I want witcher 3, PUBG, Fortnite, bf1, COD, GTA V, R6 siege. Im talking ultra graphics on 1080p on AAA titles! 60 fps is unacceptable! I'm a diehard gamer and I want quality gaming. I'm not waiting months to secure a 1070 or 1070ti and I'm not settling for a 1060..but I digress..

I have come upon 2 prebuilts that hit right on what I want and will allow me $ for a desk, chair, keyboard, monitor and games (i already have a razer Naga chroma).

If you can find a better prebuilt for the money I challenge you and encourage you to post it here.

If you cannot then please tell me which you believe is better and why.

Please don't tell me about building your own rig being better because I completely agree! The market isn't here for that and i will in time just not now.

Thank you.

EDIT: I plan on buying when I get my tax $ which should be early to mid March.

EDIT 2: For the record this is what I put together on PCPP: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/YfAm4/saved/scLXHx

I would prefer the one from Micro Center because it has 8th-gen Intel i7-8700K + 1070 Ti + ASUS mobo and a 480gb SSD. All you need with that is a HDD. Buy yourself the biggest one you want and just install it.

Only thing is you don't know what power supply is in either. I see the Micro Center one says 600W (45A/540W), so it's probably not great but I guess would get the job done.

The first pre-built pc is great for gaming, the processor has overclocking opportunities and a great graphics card for ultra, good fps on 1080p. However you will want to install a Hard Drive as the 480gb will disappear very quickly. The second PC is the one I would buy personally. Made by a reliable manufacturer and comes with a keyboard and mouse and also a 1tb hard drive this PC is great for what you are looking for. The CPU comes with an aftermarket cooler (as does the first one) and has good overclocking opportunity.
Hope this helps and feel free to ask me questions

James_es i do apologize. I have been checking in sporadically between work and sleep and just haven't had much chance to reply. Also on android I don't see a way to quote/reply you directly. And thank you both for your feedback. @James_es what is your take on liquid cooling vs possible flaws and potential damage to the system? Also what air cooler do you think is best when it comes time to replace the stock cooler (the one that will come with the system (not necessarily stock)). Thanks again.

So unanimous decision seems to be the one from micro center. Question now is the case..seems like not bad airflow but could be better..you think it'll be fine?
