Significantly slower download speeds on PC compared to phone

For a while now I've had very slow downloads on my PC compared to my phone. Using speedtest.net my PC averages 15mbps down and 12mbps up whilst wired. My iPhone 8 however reaches 58mbps down and 21mbps up on WiFi. I've searched many forums trying to find a solution to this problem however nothing helps. I'm running Windows 10 Pro on a Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI motherboard. I frequently update all my drivers and see no difference.

Please help me figure out why there's such a large difference in speeds. Feel free to ask for any information. Thank you.

Jumbo frames should be off.

Intel is pretty good about drivers, but their support matrix can be confusing. I would roll back to the driver offered by your motherboard maker because you know it's compatible. (I've had a lot more problems with Braodcom drivers than Intel).
If you have read through the boards here, you have probably found that you are not alone (if you haven't, put "wifi faster wired" in the search for grins). The damn thing is there is not one fix that works for everyone. For some it's a hardware/network issue and others it's some setting or software that is interfering. Some just end up doing a clean install of windows (don't know how long your copy of windows has been chugging along). But before we get that crazy, lets look at some things.

1. Software .. I notice that your MB comes cFosSpeed Internet Accelerator Software ... don't know if you installed it, but try it without that (or any other similar software).
2. Is your router using any kind of bandwidth limited or QoS? Any funky firewall rules or packet filtering?
3. Use a different Ethernet port on the router.
4. Try another cable.
5. IPv6. Some people have found the having IPv6 turned on will slow their connection. This one is real hit and miss.
6. Jumbo frames. Check if jumbo frames is turned off. (From device manager, right click your adapter and select properties, then go to the advanced tab)
7. Lan driver .. version 22.10? https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z170XP-SLI-rev-10#support-dl

I hope one of those helps.

Hi and thanks for replying, I'll go down your list and answer them in order.
1) I've previously had cFos installed though uninstalled it at least a few months ago.
2) I'm not aware of it using anything like QoS so I'll guess not.
3) This ended up having no difference.
4) I haven't yet tried this as my house is snowed in and I cannot go out to purchase one.
5) This seemed to have no affect, slowing it if anything.
6) Jumbo Frames is turned off, should I switch this to be on?
7) I've already installed a newer version of the driver from the intel website. Would uninstalling it and using the older driver from the gigabyte website have any improvement?

Thanks for your help so far.
