ASRock A320M + Ryzen 3 2200g with internet flash

I’m planning on doing a budget build with the new Ryzen 3 2200g and the ASRock A320M-DGS. From what I’ve heard you need to do a bios update in order to use that ryzen chip. Is it possible that I can plug in the ryzen chip to the motherboard and using the UEFI menu internet flash instead of buying another cpu to flash the bios to use the ryzen 3 2200g?

If the motherboard is able to support a 2200G or 2400G out of the box it will be labeled as Ryzen 2000 Ready and should not require another CPU to do an initial boot up. For some reason even with being in P4.50 out of the box I required another CPU AND a GPU to initially boot.

Nope, that board doesn't have any option to flash the BIOS without a supported CPU being installed.

AMD, however, is currently offering a promotion where they'll loan buyers a Bristol Ridge APU to use for flashing the BIOS to allow Raven Ridge APUs to run on the boards.
