Two graphics cards next to each other.

Hello.
Recently i bought Zotac 710 1GB PCE x1 for my second monitor to get a bit more power while using two monitors.
The problem is that my main GPU slot a GTX 950 is almost next to the newly added Zotac GPU. I am worried that they are too close and that would be bad in the long run.
When my pc case is sideways on the ground there is no problem, but when its standing as it should be, the 950 slightly bends down(from gravity) towards the 710. And the screws that are in the back of 710 get in the way of the 950's fan, so basicaly i cant have the case standing normaly. Only laying flat on the ground.
Are there any downs sides of having it that way? Should I just remove the 710 and give up on having more juice since my motherboard can support only 1 GPU?

+you can see a cable being bent slightly.

My mb: ASUSTeK H110M-K (LGA1151)

Solution
If the screws on the back of the GT710 are keeping the cooling fan of the GTX950 from spinning, then you either need to keep it on it's side (no issues there) or remove the GT710.

Are you adding the second GPU for additional outputs? Or are you using it for more graphics power?

The reason I ask is the second GPU doesn't add any additional processing power. Unfortunately that's just not how it works (for games and home use anyway). if your only using 2 monitors and your 950 has enough of the correct outputs (which im sure it does) you dont need the 710.

The free slots for the 950 are display port and HDMI, both of them are not supported by my second monitor.
Thats why i added the 710 to get dvi or vga slot for my second monitor which are only supported.

Adding a second monitor to your GTX950 will not impact your gaming experience at all.
A second monitor will have relatively static stuff like email or monitors that do not take significant graphics resource.

I would remove the 710. it looks like it will restrict the cooling airflow to the GTX950.

Except the second monitor is VGA only.

OP question??
Did you see any performance benefit with using the GT710?
If so keep the setup.

The motherboard bios will usually have a setting as to size of the shared memory to be taken from the system to be used as vram.
That can be minimal.

Another option is to use a hdmi to vga cable or a dp to vga cable.
and attach to the GTX950.

I feel like i have a small boost in performance, hard to say to be honest.
But the problem now is that i have noticed my GPU's temperature has went up by ~9 celsius. Without 710 the average temp was 70, with the 710 the GPU's temp goes up to 79. Thats probably because they are so close to each other. Should I keep it or should I try with maybe a vga to dp adapter to connect to the 950?
