from gtx950 to gtx1060, pci-e, 6-8 pin

Right now I have a gtx 950.Its card bus is PCI-E 3.0 but the 1060's card bus is a PCI-E 3.0 16x.Does it gonna cause any problem?
Also, the gtx950 needs 6pin but the 1060 needs 8pin.I have a 6pin and that 6pin has a 2pin right next to it.Is it gonna work with this 6+2?
My motherboard is an Asus B150M-A and my power supply is a Corsair VS450.

1) not gonna cause problems
2) yes that 6+2 fin is a luxary (8 pin) so thats going to work.

to counter point 2 , its NOT the best powersupply. so dont do crazy stuff like OCing ..
