Hey guys, hoping some of you can help me make a decision! I’ll try and keep it simple... I’ve got 2 iPhones and an iPad. I’d like an external hard drive that automatically backs up all the photos and videos from these 3 devices ideally wirelessly. I do already have iCloud but would like a secondary back up. I’ve seen and read loads of reviews of products but am no nearer knowing what are the best ones for my needs! Like the sound of the WD products but they don’t seem to have the highest reviews. Other big players like LaCie and Seagate get slated a bit too. Also I want to get a load of data of my very old iMac G4. Is the best way just to stick a USB stick and transfer it off that way and then stick the stick into the new hard drive? What type of USB would work with my ancient G4 and new hard drive?

No such thing for what you want to do, connect to a computer, do a backup to iTunes on the computer. You can backup your files from iTunes to that drive.
