I've frequently have had my computer to shutdown randomly, this has never happened until recently. I've had this computer for about 2 years now.

My computer specifications are

Evga SSC Geforce 1060
Gigabyte 970A-DS3P am3+
Corsair 16gb ddr3 2400mhz pc3 2x8gb desktop
Amd fx 8320 cpu with coolmaster cooling fan
Evga 700 B1 80+ bronze power supply 100-b1-0700-k1
not sure about my hdd without turning it back on and checking speccy

We've replaced the motherboard battery, cleaned out the case of dust.
Took off the cpu fan and redid the thermal paste. Made sure everything's plugged in properly, still shutting down.

It's entirely random it will shutdown if i have nothing open, or running games.
Any help is appreciated. I'm entirely lost here and unsure of what to do.
We've tried many different things just can't remember them all to type them out.

A few of the issues or things that happen while it does this are

The lights on the power button stays on when i crashes or restarts.
I have to press the button on the back to turn it back on, the power supply switch.
I've had a few issues with my time randomly changing itself but that was awhile ago. My computer temperatures are mostly normal. The only thing that gets semi hot is the gpu.

Solution
I would look at your temps. Usually high temps cause crashes. But it sounds like you have already checked your cooler.

Next I would look at your PSU. It may be failing, Do you have another PSU to test it with? If not, buy a PSU from a vendor with a good return policy and see if it happens with the new PSU. I would also get a better quality PSU. For EVGA go with the G2 or G3. Seasonic focus gold PSUs are good and priced better.
