Heya, so I really am stumped.

My rig is
MOBO: MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA 1150
CPU: INTEL PENTIUM G3258
Cooled with: COOLMASTER HYPER 212
8 gb ram
GPU: SAPPHIR R9-280 3GB BOOST DDHDP
PSU: BRAND NEW SeaSonic G Series 550-Watt, its gold80 rated. Literally brand new

My old PSU was a Corsair GS600. But that recently died on me, probably not coincidentally right after a crash.

So the thing is, if I play almost any video game my PC will crash in about the first 15 minutes of gameplay. There is almost no difference between this on Oblivion or Overwatch or FO4. Even sometimes if I just turn on my computer and walk away for a good bit it will crash.

But here is the very wierd part to me -> After the initial crash, I am good to go. Like good for possibly hours on end before the next crash....

When it does crash, it just boom powers off, then restarts immediately.

So I have lived with this for a long time since I usually just turn on, open up a game or something, and walk away for 15 minutes to make a snack, come back, and get playing.

This has occurred on at least two different outlets so ik its my computer, and I always assumed it was the PSU going bad, but then after purchasing a brand new PSU this week it STILL does it...

I do not believe it to be temp related, I check my temps and they seem completely fine.
It doesnt SEEM like its the GPU, I run stresstests on it for long periods after the initial crash, and it just doesnt cause it to crash...

So I am stumped, I dont even know where to begin to find information or a report on the crash....

Any help is appreciated!

Is there a particular spot in the event logs in windows that I should be looking?

Looks like A Kernel-Power error 41, Category 63
"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly"

In details...
nothing special....
hmm

Not sure where I should go from here...
