Hey this is Binay, youtuber, Gamer
This site has solved many problems of mine.
Please solve this problem also.
My specs are i3 2120 3.30 gHz, Radeon HD 5450 1gb graphics card, 2gb ddr3 ram, Intel 02 motherboard, 500gb HDD.
Actually I saved ₹2000 or 31.74$.
I want to buy ram to increase gaming and rendering performance. I don't have much money. I wanna buy 4gb ram. Online on Amazon I saw Dolbix DDR3 ram only in ₹2000 or ₹1990 only. I wanted to buy it. But my ram brand is ZION. I don't know the speed. Anyways I went to the nearest computer store. They told that 4gb DDR3 ZION ram will cost ₹2700 including GST. I don't know the price of 2gb DDR3 ZION ram. But I also don't want to screw up my PC and Performance. But I also want more performance. I'm confused. Please tell me what should I buy ZION 2Gb DDR3 ram to get total 4gb or I should buy 4gb Dolbix ram to get total 6GB ram? If I get 4gb then the ram brands are same but if I get 6gb then the ram brands are different including the speed. It's all depends on your helpful answer. I hope you all will reply helpful answer to save my PC, Performance and Money.

Thanks in advance,
Yours sincerely,
Binay Shaw,

Solution
If you plug ram modules with different refresh frequencies into your motherboard, they all will run at the speed of the slowest RAM module.
It is not guaranteed that ram modules of different manufacturers will be compatible. Ask the shop about return policies!
