no keyboard detected ?

as of last night when i boot up my pc the mega trends screen pops up first and says that there is no keyboard detected and the keyboard will not work unless i unplug it from the USB slot of my motherboard and plug it back in again, i have no idea why this has started happening, does anyone have any idea ? i dont want to be unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in every time i start up my pc.

if it helps i have the corsair k70 rapidfire.

Test keyboard in another computer see if it works fine there. I take it you tried different USB ports already and they all do the same thing? A day ago some Windows update seemed to have run and my keyboard also died, also a Corsair. Had to remove the unknown device from USB devices and did a "find new devices" in Device Manager. Worked after that.
