Computer Won't Power On

Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting.
Like the title states, my computer won't power on. This is what happened:

While I was playing Overwatch, someone accidentally pulled the plug in my desktop (by stepping on the power cable). So, after that, my computer would not power on. Not at all. Like there is nothing happening when I press the power button. No fans were spinning, no LEDs were lighting up. Nothing. I waited a day after the incident and still nothing. My speculation is that the power supply or motherboard is broken but there is no way I can tell. All I know is that my power cable has no problem.
Please let me know of other possible reasons why my desktop won't power on.

What I did:
Holding the power button for 30 seconds
Unplugging and replugging all the power cables inside

Specs:
MSI Z270I Gaming Pro Carbon AC
Intel Pentium G4560
Stock Cooler
Corsair's Vengeance LPX 3200 2x8GB
Intel SSD 600 256 GB
MSI GTX 1060 Aero ITX 6GB
Corsair's TX650M

I would go in the case and check to see if the PSU cable came unplugged from the mobo when the cord got stepped on.

I don't see how stepping on a power cord could damage your mobo unless the case got knocked over in the process, so I would look closer at the PSU being damaged. If everything is hooked up right, then I would try another PSU. Borrow one from a friend or buy one from a vendor with a good return policy. If the new PSU works, then the PSU is the issue, if it does not, then take it back and look at the mobo.

Everything's plugged back in.

I say mobo might be damaged cuz it happened to other people from what I've read.

I'll wait a little more before I make any decisions.
