So I just bought this motherboard ASRock G41M-S3 ( 15 Euro ) for my second pc so I can overlock the q8300 that is in the prebuilt. ( Some old medion I got from a friend)
I realised that It needs ddr3 memory where as in the other mobo in needed ddr2.
So I just took out one memory stick from my main pc (2x 8GB ddr3 ) but it doesnt post, the fans just spin at full speed, the cpu gets warm.
If I take out the ram, the same thing happens so I think it might not support a 8 gb stick, since the max you can put in is 2x 4GB.
