Hello. I have not yet made a diy watercooling loop. Im looking into fittinga and i think i found all kinds i need. My question is, to use 1/2 OD fittings, 19/13 milimeters, do i need to buy specific blocks and radiators? Because looking at images it loojs like radiators wont fit big fittings because of small space between the g1/4 hole and the fan frame, and also looking at cpu and gpu blocks it looks like it wont fit big fittings between the 2 g1/4 holes. Its just me being stupid and any block or radiator will fit this fittings or do i need to buy specific parts to use these big fittings?? I guess i chose this size because big hoses look better and because in my mind it should probably flow the water faster.
THANKS IN ADVANCE if you help me!!

I can say from experience that XSPC radiators have no issues with large fittings. I have two 280mm radiators from them as well as an EX120. Unless your fans have larger than normal chassis it should be fine.

Aquatunings website seemed to be down for the last hour or so. Back now though. Those look similar to the XSPC fittings I ended up using. (XSPC black or nickel chrome have a similar look)

I suppose it would help to know the parts in question. So if you could provide your potential parts lists with links that would be helpful.

In general if they support g1/4 fittings then they should fit almost any you would want to use. The threaded holes do appear small and the fittings are usually much larger, particularly with 1/2" tubing. But most should have the room for the fittings. Though on the radiators I must say I never thought about a potential problem with the fans, it is conceivable someone might have designed one to only use 3/8 fittings. I would hope they would indicate so.

The water flow won't be significantly different, but it does mean the loop holds a little more water, so it should take that much longer to reach saturation. I do agree though, the larger tubing just looks appropriate to most case dimensions.
