I recently built a new computer, my first motherboard was not working properly so i got it replaced. Things were looking fine the first couple of hours but late afternoon my ethernet connection just stopped working. It seemed strange but i decided to shut it off and test again tomorrow. The next day the computer worked fine again, until around the same time when it just cut out for the rest of the night. This has been going on for about five days. I am running Windows 10. When i run the troubleshooter it says: "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration.

I have tried:
replacing the ethernet cable,
Switching ports on the ethernet hub,
updating drivers,
completely reseting windows,
reseting the ethernet adapter,
manually and automatically setting ipv4 adress,

i have tried running the following commands in an admin command prompt:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig/ release
ipconfig/ flushdns
ipconfig/ renew

The fact that it is cutting out after a certain amount of use makes it seem like some kind of overheting (???). I'm really out of ideas here guys... Do you have any suggestions or should i just return this motherboard aswell? Wifi is working at all times. I should also mention that all other ethernet devices and computers work just fine.

I am super grateful for any help!
Sam

It only happens on this one system. I am able to plug in another system when it happens and that system will work just fine. For this reason i have not called my ISP since it seems highly unlikely that the problem is on their side.
