I bought the following

https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-220-G2-0550-Y1/dp/B0106RDI3W

to put in my old computer and transfered my old powersupply to a new build

My cpu slot on my motherboard needs 2x8 (16) pins however this powersupply only has a 2x2(8) pin. could I get an adapter to change it to 16? or do need to buy a new one with the proper pins.

I should have more than enough power to run it..

would this work? https://www.amazon.com/Motherboard-Supply-Y-Splitter-Adapter-Sleeved/dp/B0094PBKN8

server mobo?

dual cpu right?

if you are running dual cpu's then using an adapter is madness
