I unplugged my HDD system drive from my old computer and put it in my new one. How do I access the files?

As the title says, I disconnected my system drive from my old computer. It's a standard 1TB HDD. I've connected it to my new computer the standard way, with a SATA cable. It seems like my computer recognizes the drive in Disk Management, but it does not show up on My Computer. How do I access the files?

Solution
if you see it in Disk Management it should show a status. If it says offline, right click on that status and select online. If you get any prompts to initialize or format, stop and come back here. If it goes online, then the hard drive should show up with partitions and drive letters and then should show under My Computer.
The "new" computer is equipped with its own system drive and boots to the OS installed on that drive and functions without any problems?

So that the "old" 1 TB HDD is installed as a SECONDARY drive in the new system?

Is that the story here?
