Well i just saw a video on YouTube and inside it the guy said that ddr2 8gb is equivalent of 32-64 gb of ddr4 now and how is that possible I thought that it worked backwards like 8gb ddr4 is equivalent to 16gb of ddr3. So anybody can answer this?

that and 4 gb of ram is 4 gb of ram whether it is ddr2/3/4. speed is much different but it's not like it somehow multiplies as it gets faster.

if a game requires 8 gb of ram, then 2 gb of ddr4 is not somehow gonna count as more ram vs ddr2. either one still needs to total the 8gb of ram the game requires.

might have been talking abut price.

but without having seen the video your speaking of, i have no idea how to say for sure. but there is really no equivalent between ddr2 and ddr4 ram. they are so far apart and ddr4 is so much faster i can't imagine any factual comparison between them being made.
