Lately I have been getting a burning electrical / chemical smell from my mining computer. The two GPU are running proper temps below 80 so I don't think it's them. Today my computer shut itself off randomly while under load. It wouldn't turn back on till I turned the power switch on the power supply off then on. I figure my problem is either the power supply or the CPU. Tonight I left it running with one GPU and I came home to the awful burning smell but the computer was still running. I don't have a spare power supply or CPU to test. Any helpful hints for troubleshooting between those two components? Could also be the motherboard I suppose. But I have no idea how to troubleshoot that either. The CPU is not over clocked but the graphics cards had a memory boost through a bios flash but have been running stable for two months.
