Planning to buy Asus ROG Strix B350-F and Ryzen 1600.

I can't find any cheap RAM that is on both AMD and Motherboard support.

One I found, CMK8GX4M1A2400C16R is on AMD list but not on Motherboards list, and another CMK8GX4M1A2400C14R is on Motherboard list(minus the R, which I assume stands for red heat spreader as the non-R one is Black) and not AMD's.

Does this matter? Please help!

It doesn't really matter if it's on AMD or Intel list almost all DDR4 are same for both platforms. As for QVL memory list, that's not very important either, they can't (or want) to test every RAM on the market. Both of those RAM you mention would be completely compatible with your or any other Ryzen setup.
