Good CPU MOBO combo

I have an old system wich i started upgrading some time ago.
now its time to change the cpu and motherboardand ram.

my setup at the moment is :

psu: be quiet dark power 11 1000w
cpu amd fx8350 (upgrade)
Mobo:asrock extreme 3 990fx (upgrade)
cpu cooler: cooler master seidon 120
ram : kingston fury hyper x 8gb ddr3 1866hz(upgrade)
gpu: gtx 1080
hdd: WD raptor 10000rpm 1tb
ssd: kingston 60gb
i will be using my pc mainly for gaming and some productivity.

what cpu/mobo would you suggest for around 650Euros?

i5-8600K comes with 6 cores and 6 threads that would be more than enough for all your gaming and production needs. K-series CPU also enables you to OC your CPU if needed be.

Oh, had to include CPU cooler (150mm tall) since K-series CPU doesn't come with one.
I have the very same CPU cooler in use in my Skylake build (full specs with pics in my sig).

Nice upgrade, but the cooler master seidon 120 probably could be reused.

While CM Seidon 120 can be reused, it doesn't provide much cooling performance due to it's small 120mm rad. Proper AIO has 240mm or 280mm rad.
