I just installed a fresh copy of a Windows 8.1. The problem I have is that, my Graphics card (DUAL-RX460-O2G) doesn't have drivers and I can't find them either. I checked Asus's page for the Support and it only has drivers for either Windows10 or Win7. Feeling kind of desperate as it displays it as a basic display driver with 256MB. help.

I also do it for various other parts. I get my audio straight from Realtek. I've done the same for storage controllers, trackpads and motherboard chipsets when necessary. I mainly just do the last three as a last ditch effort. If the manufacturer of the part won't provide drivers for the latest Windows. Even though the chipset maker updated their drivers.

Yeah, I tend to do the same for the audio and other drivers. But there is another huge problem now.. Whenever I try to install this AMD driver, it sends me straight into a BSOD and Win8.1 has to Scan and repair it, for it to boot up.. I tried The disckcheck windows has and the windows memory diagnostics, both showed no problems.. sfc /sfcannow didn't show any errors either.

Option 1: If you have any prior AMD/nVidia/Intel GPU drivers installed. Uninstall them and try again.

Option 2: Run Windows update. Let in install the driver. Then try to run the installer.

Option 3: Try to do it manually for now. Use a program like 7-Zip to decompress the downloaded installer into a folder. Then go through Device Manager to update the driver. Select the decompressed folder and allow it to scan it for a driver. Don't install Driver Easy. I just linked for the visual manual instructions.

Once installed you can try the AMD Crimson installer again. To get the AMD control panel.

Welp, I tried to install it through the device manager/ automatic update through network. It updated it to a radeon rx460 but in the dxdiag dedicated memory appears to be 5832MB, should I be worried and uninstall that or it works..?
