Hi guys!

I did some research before I posted this thread.

My problem started a few weeks ago.
I put my PC to sleep overnight,
then tried turning it on but no display. (IM USING MY LAPTOP CURRENTLY)
all the lights on my tower is turned on, fan is working.

1). I removed all the hardware, except processor & power supply. Turned On, but same issue.
2). I tried after removing ram, & then by switching ram slot, Did not work for me.
3). I removed the computer cord, & pressed & hold the "ON" button for 30 to 60 seconds, Didn't work

I've tried this methods for like a week , hoping that I might get lucky and get it fixed.
I tried removing one of my RAMs (I HAVE 8GB RAM)
And the display turned on, and restarted it to make sure that it is really working ( I SUCCESSFULLY RESTARTED IT, NO PROBLEM)
But after I set up my PC on my other desk, the problem occured again, and never worked since then.

I ALSO HAVE TESTED MY MONITOR, ITS WORKING PERFECTLY.

Hope you guys can help me . Thank you :)

A bad Power Supply Unit may cause those symptoms, especially if you're not getting a splash screen of any type or it seems to freeze up during the splash screen or shortly thereafter. You may not get a beep code either. The first symptoms they are going is your computer may periodically freeze up but not often. Next the computer won't wake back up from sleep mode. Finally, you have to play with the components to get it to boot, and finally, it won't boot but you'll get your fans and such. The final stage is total system failure where nothing works.

That being said, a power surge may cause it to skip the freezing and go straight to refusing to wake up and or refusing to boot... and a surge suppressor does not always stop the surge. Many...

Do you have a discrete GPU or are you using integrated graphics?

Assuming you are using integrated graphics, how many Video Out connections does your motherboard have? I suggest trying different ones if you have them.

That being said, a power surge may cause it to skip the freezing and go straight to refusing to wake up and or refusing to boot... and a surge suppressor does not always stop the surge. Many people do not understand that. They should be replaced every 2 to 3 years as well and you should buy the highest rated surge suppressor (surge protector) that money will allow. Lower rated ones are almost guaranteed to let a surge through. Many people get a false sense of security by using them when the reality is, they are not as reliable as one would think.

To be sure, your best bet is to take it in for a diagnostic I'm afraid.
