atikmdag.sys system_thread_exception_not_handled error when installing Overwatch

I have just purchased a key for Overwatch online and I'm trying to install the game. However whenever I install it the game I get system_thread_exception_not_handled error and it says atikmdag.sys. I have looked at other solutions online for this and used CCleaner and reinstalled my AMD 7700 HD drivers but I am still getting the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I'm having the exact same problem, if you can post your specs I might be able to figure this out. Also I'm really sorry you've been waiting nearly a month for a reply, but if you still have this issue post your specs, if not then tell me how you fixed it, because I also have an amd radeon HD 7770

Oh never mind I figured it out, if you haven't yet, roll back your amd drivers to 17. 11. 1. That was the last stable one for the 7700 series cards. You can do this by just searching into google "AMD 17. 11. 1 drivers. "
