Why is my pc performance worse than same/similar builds?

Exactly as the title says. I have watched many youtube videos and recommended specs for all of these games I play, and they always get such better fps than me. I don't have anything overclocked. I tried to overclock the gpu and it didn't really make a visible difference so i turned it off, but this has been a problem even before this.
My specs are as follows:
B250M PRO-VD
8GB GDDR4 Ram, clocked at 2133mhz
Pentium G4560
GTX 1050ti.
I do get a low memory warning, which i dont necessarily understand, considering min specs are 6gb, and my card is a 4GB card. It is running from a 1tb WD blue hdd, however i could arrange putting it on an SSD if necessary.
I am running it in windowed borderless, so i can alt-tab (it is very much needed).
1080p is kinda a must, I really want it to look good, but i can downgrade resolution if necessary, provided i can still alt tab properly.

Thanks for the help :)

Pubg will always be an issue, as will other games written like it. You have a dual core/quad thread cpu and pubg is optimized for 8 threads.

As far as YouTube videos go, that's a double edged sword. While on the one hand they'll say 'you can get this fps', what they don't go into is exactly how to go about it. They'll skip the part about putting physX on the gpu, since your cpu is weak. They'll skip the part about dropping certain graphics settings like viewing distance and grass details, they just slap settings on ultra. They'll skip the part about going into nvidia control panel and making sure triple buffer is off and virtual pre-rendered frames is set to 1. There's half a hundred differences that they don't mention either due to...

They'll skip the part about going into nvidia control panel and making sure triple buffer is off and virtual pre-rendered frames is set to 1. There's half a hundred differences that they don't mention either due to laziness or they simply assume you've set up a cpu/gpu before. There's also certain tweaks that need to be done, like making sure all the motherboard drivers are upto date, gpu drivers are current, background tasks are minimized, Xbox DVR in windows is shut off etc.

YouTube videos are all about what is 'possible' which is not related to what is 'probable', so take them with a grain of salt, they are not Gospel or any other form of realistic expectation.

Those videos were also made long before the 'Spectre' backdoor scare, and since recent Intel fixes have kinda put a small squish on performance, especially on weaker cpus, you could probably expect not to be now able to duplicate their results.
