DDR4 3200mhz or DDR4 3600mhz?

I’m deciding whether to buy corsair vengeance DDR4 16gb(2x8gb)red LED 3200mhz cl16 1.35v or Corsair vengeance 16gb (2x8gb) RGB 3600mhz cl18 1.35v. The price difference is $55 Cad (This was determined with taxes of 13% on sale prices). What’s your thoughts?

Really not much in terms of actual app performance or fps.
At equal speed, lower latency performs better.

Buy the cheapest one, because the difference would not be worth 55$ CAD. That said, 3200mhz and 3600mhz is a much smaller difference (almost no difference in gaming) than that between cl16 vs cl18.
cl16 3200mhz that is 55$ cheaper than cl18 3600mhz would be the better buy about 99.99% of the time.

First of all, verify that your ram candidates are compatible with your motherboard.
Particularly if you will be using a ryzen motherboard.
One place to check is your motherboards web site.
Look for the ram QVL list. It lists all of the ram kits that have been tested with that particular motherboard.
Sometimes the QVL list is not updated after the motherboard is released.
For more current info, go to a ram vendor's web site and access their ram selection configurator.

If you are not concerned about price, buy the fastest kit or the one that looks prettier to you.
I am not a fan of "bling"

I would look for a 2 x 8gb DDR4 3000-3600 speed kit that is low profile and no bling. Corsair LPX is very good

All of the RAM listed were test, those are just hand picked according pricing. I would get corsair 3600mhz with c18, but is it worth it over c16. What would this latency mean for performance?
