Hi.
I've tried googling this without any success, and i've seen multiple threads about the same thing, but not for this specific model.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.
I recently purchased a mouse (Razer Mamba) that requires charging from the same port as is uses for the wireless signal, that means that my computer has to be able to charge usb devices when turned off.
However, i cant get this to work.
So here's what i've tried so far:
1. went through BIOS.
After googling, a lot of people suggest there should be a simple options to just "turn on" usb charging. This setting is not present on my motherboard, and i cant find anything that matches what i want to do.
Per someones suggestion in another thread i did turn off some "power saving mode":
The other options i have under my USB menu is the following:
I updated my BIOS to see if any new options would reveal themselves without success.
I've also read the manual to see if there are anything im missing. I did find a chapter on waking the computer from USB-connected devices, and moving of a jumper would enable that.
I tried moving the jumper since it said that it would deliver 500mA after doing so.
This didn't change anything either:
At last i checked some windows setting in the system menu about disabling the computers ability to shut down the device. This didn't change anything either (i know this is in Swedish, but i figured you recognize the setting anyway):
So does anyone have any insight in to this?
what should i try next?
Does my motherboard lack this ability?
