I have built my pc up and everything runs fine but I am getting no post on my system when I plug into any display. I asked someone at the local PC store and they told me my motherboard's BIOS needs to be updated to work with the new 2400 series APU's. I have not really found anything online to help me through this process and its very frustrating to have put money into this machine to have it not work. if anyone knows how to do this I would REALLY appreciate the help, Thanks in advance. - Cole.

Section 3-11 talks about updating the BIOS (should be the same section in the paper manual that came with the motherboard).

R3 2200G & R5 2400G are supported with BIOS version 3203.

You will need an older CPU installed in the socket in order to update the BIOS. If you're replacing a prior CPU (i.e. a Bristol Ridge APU), pop it back in & update the BIOS. If you bought the motherboard brand-new, you can a) take it back to the store & see if they'll update the BIOS for you, or b)...

Awesome! thank you very much for trying to help. This is actually my first build, I work on repairs for Mac computers at the moment and am new to building PC's. I will definitely be taking it to the store I got my parts from tonight and see if they can help me out with updating the BIOS with an older CPU. Again thank you very much. I'll be sure to post an update as soon as I learn anything more about the issue!

Awesome! That's actually really great information to have. Luckily the store I bought all of my parts from offered to flash the BIOS for me for a small fee. I should have my computer up and running. By the end of the day! Thanks to all of you who have tried to help me solve this problem, it is so very appreciated.
