hey guys i recetly bought a 2nd hand hp probook n the seller forgot to format it so i installed a windows 7 through my cd drive n after some days i thought about to update my laptop to windows 8.1 so i downloaded windows 8.1 iso from torrent n make a usb bootable using refus n search for the solution n i didnt get anything n i forgot to make a backup n formated it n there is no old windows 7

Does the laptop have a windows key on it for windows 8.1? If not it sounds like you don't have a license for windows 8 and we won't help with that.
Your only option at this point is to re-install Windows 7 the same way you did it when you got the laptop.
