Macbook Pro SSD

Good Afternoon,

I'm running a mid 2011 Macbook Pro that I recently upgraded to 16GB of RAM and two SSD's (from crucial) (one ssd replacing the optical drive). It was running like a dream until just recently when it froze upon closing the lid and emitted a high pitch whine. Upon start up it no longer recognized my 1TB ssd and only recognized the 250 ssd in the optical bay. While running off of the 250 ssd it again made the whine (like a bee or fly). Thirty minutes later I restarted my computer and was able to boot off the 1TB ssd and it has been running well since. I'm confused but my initial thoughts are that there is a loose connection to my ssd or that I messed up computer when upgrading its hardware. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex
