I will be buying Ryzen 7 1700x soon as I want to upgrade my FX 8370 processor, I just have a year since I build my budget PC that by the way has a zotac gtx 1050 ti and I really dont know what do I need to upgrade to ryzen 7, I know I will need a new motherboard for sure and ram as well because my other components will work but I want to know in terms of a cooling system, also since the prices of GPUs have increase I dont think I will be buying a graphic card soon will my gtx 1050 ti be a good combination with this processor? also I got a 750 w power supply will I need more power or I'm ok?

Solution
Consider backing down to Ryzen 1700(non-x) as it comes with its' own cooler and it does a pretty good job. The X version is a binned, 'golden chip' that can overclock a couple mhz higher. If you think that's worth the extra cost and no cooler included, is up to you.
The 1050ti will be fine with that cpu for awhile, and 750w is plenty - 550w would've been fine to run that as well.

Thanks a lot! I think I will consider getting the version you mentioned.
