I have an option of getting a ryzen 3 i300x or a ryzen 5 1400. Both PC"s Have The Same Specs And Price

Solution
Don't look at the stock speeds, both with proper cooling can be overclocked (B350/X370 motherboard required) to around 4.0ghz. Between the two the 1400 is the better CPU due to the 8 threads for multitasking.

umm i have a bit of a problem. Im not building it, im buying an already built PC. I just so happend to found the config i want and there was an option for ryzen 5 or ryzen 3 for the same price. Since the ryzen 5 is better. Thats what im going for.

PCs:
1. branded PCs tend to have low quality components (mobo, psu, etc.) and they are overpriced. (Lenovo, HP, Dell, etc.)
2. custom builds from well-known builders are usually in better quality but extremely overpriced.
3. choose your component on your own and ask a store to put the together is better. you have the control over quality and this should cost slightly less.
4. choose and build your own PC. the cheapest of them all and you have the control of the quality...plus..if you haven't done it before, you will be smarter after you built it.

If you are going for nr. 1, I would not recommend that.

1=Noooo
2=Thats what im going for
3=If i put my config(the same config with their pc,but instead of ryzen 5 its ryzen 3)it will be more exencive then their built pc
4=Not going with that bcuz i have 0 experience with hardware and im not taking the chance to fck it up when im broke af and i can only affford this kind of pc like every 5 years of saving

For nr. 2, you can contact the system builder if you want some small changes.
For nr. 3, if they charge you enormous price for putting the things together, I would go for other store. €100 should be max.
For nr. 4, there will be always the first time for everything. Do you think everyone of us here are born with the ability to put PC components together? The possibility to mess up things really bad is very small. I even started building PCs over 20 years ago as PC building was a lot more difficult and lot more riskier. Now, there are tons of tutorials in youtube, back then during my time..nothing! I also started as I was early in the university with almost 0 income. I used like my lifetime saving up to that time to get those components. No risk no game.
