Dead GPU or is it something else

A couple of days ago while playing Rainbow 6 Siege, my computer shut itself off randomly. Waited a couple minutes and turned the computer back on. All the fans and lights came on but i noticed that my GPU fans were not going and were sort of just twitching.

So I turned the computer off, unplugged everything and then took the battery out of the motherboard for a minute and put it back in. Plugged everything back in, turned on the desktop and everything came right up like nothing was wrong.

Then yesterday I was playing some Rocket League and my screens went black and were saying out of range. Computer stayed on until I shut if off a few seconds afterwards.

Every time I tried to start it up, I could see one of my fans in my case move a little bit but got no startup. Tried taking the battery out again but that didn't work. I unplugged my GPU and used my integrated graphics and that started up and works just fine. When I plugged my GPU back in though it did the same thing with no start up.

Tried using a different slot for my GPU on my motherboard but that didn't work. Checked the voltage on my PSU cable going to the GPU and that was fine too.

I was planning on taking my GPU to a friends house to test it in his rig to see if things would boot up but wanted to get some opinions on here as well. Let me know what you guys can come up with.

Solution
If it wont work in another rig you can always disassmbly it and change thermal paste. Try different port, hdmi or dvi switch it. Look for pins shorted on power connector or dvi / hdmi / displayport
