Have I made a good choice for the motherboard and RAM ?

I'm going to build a pc for the first time, and I already know some of the components I want in my build. The only problem is that I'm not familiar with motherboards and RAM. For my CPU I chose the Intel i5 8400. I was thinking about the Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming K3. It seemed like a good motherboard that also is future proof. For the RAM I chose 2 x 4 Gb Ballistix DDR4 2666 Mhz sticks (BLS2C4G4D26BFSB). The RAM sticks have a latency of 16 but I'm not familiar with that at all.

Have I made a good choice or do I need to change my motherboard and/or RAM sticks? Let me know!

Thanks!

Solution
The motherboard manufacturer"s website specifies the following supported DRAM.

Support for DDR4 4000(O.C.) / 3866(O.C.) / 3800(O.C.) / 3733(O.C.) / 3666(O.C.) / 3600(O.C.) / 3466(O.C.) / 3400(O.C.) / 3333(O.C.) / 3300(O.C.) / 3200(O.C.) / 3000(O.C.) / 2800(O.C.) / 2666 / 2400 / 2133 MHz memory modules

So the DRAM is supported. So it should be fine.
