so i just build a ryzen 5 2400g, asrock ab350 with 16gb ddr4 running at 2666mhz and tested it using cinebench. i updated the driver and everything. isnt the score was too low?

cinebench result,
opengl: 38 fps
cpu: 760 cb

I have a GT 1030 2GB arriving tomorrow. It should be close to the iGPU in your APU. I can pop it in my 1300X and run Cinebench for comparison if you'd like.
The Vega chip in your APU is still pretty new, so kinda hard to judge a Cinebench score this early. But as Count Mike suggests, it should be close to if not slightly better than my GT 1030.

I doubt you could have messed anything up by simply assembling the parts into a complete build. Latest drivers for card and board installed? Win 10? Nothing running in the background when benching?

Not for the CPU. My Ryzen 3 1300 at stock clocks had a Cinebench score of 479cb and my 1600X at stock had a Cinebench score of 1211cb. Both were with the RAM at Ryzen's stock also. If you are concerned about the opengl results, I have nothing to compare. My 1050 Ti (with the 1300) got 7733 fps. But that's not a fair comparison to the iGPU.

My GT 1030 2GB scored 84.18 fps in Cinebench on a 1080p/60hz monitor. Hmmm... could the fact that your iGPU is using slower system RAM instead of DDR5 VRAM make that much difference?

Btw, the 4c/4t 1300X only got 523cb compared to your 4c/8t 2400g's 760cb. So AMD's SMT does make a difference.
