Buying a ram, getting to know about compatibility...

So now i have 4GB DDR4 2133 installed on my laptop. So is it possible for me to pair it with a
4GB DDR4 2400. or can i pair it with a 8GB DDR4 2133/2400?

I don't actually know how this works, my laptop is too slow so i need to upgrade the ram to 8/12GB,
any recommendation on what ram should i buy and which is compatible?

Laptops tend to be very particular about their ram, so, I suggest that you check with the ram manufacturer's website memory selection tool to be sure of getting compatible ram. Be aware that your laptop may already be using all available ram slots(you have to look to be...

Be aware that your laptop may already be using all available ram slots(you have to look to be sure) so that it may not be just adding a new stick of ram but replacing all your current ram with new (that would be more likely to succeed).
