Home Theatre (Panasonic SA-PT850) suddenly stopped playing movies from USB Drive

Hey everyone.

I want to play a movie on my Panasonic home theatre (SA-PT850). I used to play movies on it from a USB stick just fine before, all I had to do is convert the movie into a DivX format (it supports DivX), which always worked.
But, recently, I converted a movie, put it on my flash drive that I used to play movies from (the format of that flash drive is FAT32) and put it in. When it loaded the USB, it showed me that it detected the DivX file on the drive and allowed me to play it. So I played it and it started loading, but after a few seconds of waiting, it does not play and shows a message that says "Could not play group 1, content 1".
I've played movies using the same method before, and this started happening out of nowhere. I have no idea what to try anymore.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Solution
First thought would be some corruption issue during your conversion process. Try another conversion to determine if the same thing happens.

Try another USB stick. The sticks are being made as cheaply as possible and your stick may simply have failed, or is failing, in some manner.

Or perhaps some new copyright protection is in place and the movie is no longer convertible. What is the source of the movie?
